Fort Collins Nursery

The nursery stretches out like a small botanical world of its own. Rows of towering evergreens, delicate saplings, fruit trees, and ornamental varieties create a canopy of textures and shades of green. Every corner of the nursery is manicured like an enchanted story. They even have a small area for kids to play. What made thus place even more special, is Maddy. 😃 She doesn't just work there. She is knowledgeable, fun, and passionate. She dedicated a long time explaining the differences between fast‑growing privacy trees, and ornamental species. Whether you're looking for a small plant, or planning big yard project, this is the place to go.

Typically great plants. I bought some tomato’s there and one of them plants never thrived. It was suspicious when I bought it but they assured me I could bring it back if it didn’t work out. I tried for 3 weeks , it was spotted , wilty and never took. I went out yesterday and the top had fallen over. I took it back to the nursery and they were going to exchange it but couldn’t figure out how in the computer. She called a manager over who looked at the plant and said the wind had made the top fall over and that wasn’t covered. I didn’t push back but i thought it was really crappy to deny a warranty exchange for a value of 3.99 to a customer who comes back year after year for plants especially after employees assured me I could bring it back if it didn’t take. Still giving a high rating because plants are usually good quality.

So many good things about Fort Collins Nursery! They have plenty of knowledgeable staff available to help, even during the middle of the week. In my visit, I had not one, but two employees who assisted me with my endless sea of questions, leaving me feeling confident in my purchase. When I had an error with a tree warranty, they resolved it with ease. There was no fighting or frustration, just a simple "lets make this right." Compared to the type of customer service you get nowadays, this was like a breath of fresh air. They may not be perfect, but the fact is they CARE. That's all I can ask for as a customer. Will definitely be returning to make future purchases here.

I like that you can get grass seed in small quantities here. They also have fun metal artwork decor for your lawn or greenhouse. They have a huge selection of native Colorado plants and flowers and grasses, as well as a big selection of non-native plants.
